Trencia
President and Artistic Director Sofranie Trencia launched Montreal-based company Box 5 Creation after 11 years working in cabarets and dinner-theatres in Germany. She is best known for her expertise in stage direction, casting, event management, and her knowledge of living arts on the international scene.
A trained circus artist, jazz singer and actress, Sofranie was honoured with a bronze medal at Paris’ prestigious circus gathering Festival Mondial du Cirque de Demain, in 2001, for her performance in aerial silk. Today, her love and respect for the arts and artists motivate her way of communicating and working with artists.
Holder of a management in cultural organizations Master’s degree from Montreal’s prestigious HEC management university, Sofranie has found a genuine passion for marketing and management.
With Box 5 Creation, Sofranie has set out to develop value-added collaborations for everyone, in a ferociously competitive market. Provide the best event service possible rooted in real-world business ideas, all the while shining a light on all deserving artists and craftspeople: that is her mission!
